Public Wine Tasting

The unique, scenic drive we follow to the wineries...

The typical visitor arriving in Temecula Wine Country travels the most direct route from Interstate 15, four miles east along an attractive, yet somewhat generic Southern California urban thoroughfare, suddenly crossing into wine country. Our tour provides a distinct perspective that few visitors encounter when exploring this beautiful area.

Traveling through a scenic portion of the valley, view the striking, sprawling grounds surrounding ranchero-style homes in town, then pass impressive equestrian ranches, citrus groves, vineyards, expansive estates, and untouched open space in wine country. The natural route progression ties together fascinating facts we share about the surprising historical significance of Temecula Valley.

Our guests experience firsthand how the terrain, in concert with the area’s physical location and prevailing weather patterns form a unique micro climate, creating exceptional conditions for grape cultivation.  Visit three wineries, varied in size, atmosphere and service approach, each serving a diverse selection of varietals. Engaging with the winery owner and wine maker is a unique opportunity our guests often encounter.

Delight in a delicious picnic lunch served on a covered patio overlooking a picturesque, serene valley, or indoors surrounded by barrels, if preferred or in the event of inclement weather.

It is impossible to predict a guest’s wine likes and dislikes with certainty, so our criteria in picking the wineries visited leans more toward the consistency of service received at each winery. We seek out welcoming, friendly and informative staff.
